ABOUT THIS SPACE
Start downstairs, where the living room gathers everyone around a big sectional, a tiled fireplace and a wall-mounted TV. French doors open straight to the covered patio, so the party drifts outside whenever it wants. The open floor plan flows into the kitchen and a bright dining nook, so the cook stays in the conversation.
The kitchen is set up for real meals, with a stainless steel range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, blender, hot water kettle, a Keurig plus a coffee maker, and a bar with stools for quick breakfasts. A downstairs half bath and a laundry room with a washer and dryer keep sandy towels under control.
Upstairs you will find all three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a second gathering space:
- Captain's Quarters Suite: a king bed, a window seat, two closets, and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. The air mattress is available here for an extra sleeper.
- Palm Room: a queen bed, a wall TV and a louvered closet.
- Under the Sea Suite: a queen bed, plus a loft with a twin bed that kids tend to claim first.
- Hall bath: tub and shower combination.
- Family room: two sofas and a very large TV that feels like a home theater, with a door that opens to the balcony.
Outside, the covered patio is the place everyone ends up: egg chairs, a ceiling fan, an outdoor dining table and a gas BBQ grill (propane is provided). Past it sits the fenced backyard, and beside the patio the outdoor shower has hot and cold water for rinsing off after the beach. A bike is available for guest use.
Beach gear is waiting for you, including a beach wagon and cooler, chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and kids' toys, so you can leave the heavy lifting at home. Little ones are covered too, with a pack 'n play, a high chair, children's dinnerware, books and toys, and board games. Wifi, air conditioning, ceiling fans, bed linens, hair dryers and an iron round out the basics.

GUEST ACCESS
You have the entire home to yourselves. Check-in is simple: self check-in with a smart lock and your own custom code, so there is no key swap and no waiting around. Arrive any time after 4:00 PM. The entrance is on the side of the building. The backyard, patio, balcony and the gear in the beach storage area are all yours to use during your stay.
PARKING
Free parking is available on the property, with a driveway at the front of the home. Traveling with a large group in several cars, or bringing a trailer or oversized vehicle? Message us before you arrive so we can help you plan where everyone parks.
HOUSE RULES
- Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM.
- Up to 8 guests stay at the home.
- Pets are welcome, so please contact us for the pet policy before you book.
- A rental agreement is required before your stay, as the City of Cape Canaveral requires.
- Exterior security cameras cover the front door and driveway only, never the inside of the home.
- Decibel monitors help keep the neighborhood calm. They measure noise levels only and never record conversations.
- Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed, so please leave them in place.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
About the Owner
My husband and I grew up in the Seattle, WA area and through our careers moved to Florida 18 years ago. We absolutely love it here in the Cocoa/Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. Our 2 young adult children and my parents live in the area as well. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our family. We also have a passion to renovate and decorate homes and have done several properties. It just seemed a natural fit to combine our love of travel with renovating to provide homes that we could share with others as a vacation rental. We live just 15 minutes away and are available for any questions, concerns, or needs throughout your stay. As your host, my goal is to make sure you have a wonderful vacation experience at our beach home.

The Captain's Quarters ensuite bathroom is spacious. There is an oversized walk-in shower with a rain shower type of shower head, a separate toilet room with a pocket door, a walk in closet, and double sinks with a large mirror. The Hall Bathroom is upstairs by the family room, between the other 2 bedrooms and has a walk-in shower. Downstairs is a half bath by the kitchen that is next to the laundry room. There is an outdoor shower in the back yard beside the patio to rinse off after the beach. |
