ABOUT THIS SPACE
Cape Getaway 1 is one side of a duplex, a 2 bedroom, 1 bath townhouse that sleeps four and has been recently renovated from the floors up. Everything is on a single level, so there are no stairs between you and the couch after a long beach day.

Living Room: The open floor plan puts the couch and a 55-inch TV with Roku in the same room as the kitchen, so whoever is cooking never misses the conversation.

Kitchen: The renovated, fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, stainless electric stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, hot water kettle, and a drip coffee maker with coffee waiting for you. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes, wine glasses, a baking sheet, and cooking basics are all here, and the eat-in bar seats four for breakfast, snacks, or a quick lunch between beach sessions.

Primary Bedroom: A king bed with bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, room-darkening shades, a dresser, and a closet. A pack n play is always at the listing for the littlest traveler.

Second Bedroom: Two twin beds that can be converted into a short king bed, so you can set it up for kids, friends, or a couple, plus a wall-mounted TV, a dresser, and room-darkening shades.

Bathroom: A fully renovated bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, floating vanity, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hot water.

Outside: Step out the kitchen door to your own private patio with pavers and outdoor furniture, set apart from the neighboring side by a solid privacy fence. Beyond it is the shared fenced backyard with a partial privacy fence between the two units, a laid-back place to sip coffee in the morning or unwind after sunset. The washer and dryer are free to use and sit in the outdoor laundry room just outside the kitchen door, shared with the other side of the duplex.

For Families: A high chair, a pack n play, children's dinnerware, and a stack of board games are always here, so rainy afternoons and early bedtimes are easy.

Beach Essentials: A beach wagon with chairs, boogie boards, toys, and a cooler is included.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY
The beach is the star. It is an easy walk to the beach of roughly 8 to 10 minutes, or about a 1 minute drive with free parking at the end of the road.

Rocket launches are visible from the backyard and even better from the beach. Kennedy Space Center is a short drive away and makes a perfect full day for space fans of every age.

Take a short drive to the cruise port and watch the cruise ships come and go from one of the restaurant patios. If you are sailing, the port is close enough that you can sleep in, enjoy breakfast, and still make boarding without stress.

A few minutes by car you will find Cocoa Beach, the Cocoa Beach Pier, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Manatee Park, and plenty of restaurants, shops, and parks right here in Cape Canaveral.

Orlando airports, Disney World, and the other theme parks are about a 45 to 55 minute drive, a relaxed base for a beach week with a theme park day or two. It is a quiet neighborhood to come home to each evening.

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR
Families with young children: The high chair, pack n play, children's dinnerware, board games, and beach wagon with toys make this a truly family friendly stay, and the single-level layout is easy with strollers.

Cruise travelers: Stay before or after your sailing. The cruise port is a short drive and parking is free, so you can unload, relax, and get to the ship without stress.

Space and launch fans: Watch a rocket launch from the backyard or the beach, then head to Kennedy Space Center for the day.

Couples and small groups of friends: A king bed in one room and twin beds that convert to a short king in the other mean four adults can sleep comfortably, with a patio for evening drinks.

GUEST ACCESS
Check in on your own schedule with self check-in and a smart lock. You will have the entire side of the duplex, including your unit, the carport, the paver patio, and the side yard with the laundry room. The backyard and the washer and dryer are shared with the neighbors next door, so please be considerate. Exterior security cameras cover the property for everyone's safety. An early check-in or late check-out may be available, so just ask.

PARKING
Free parking is on the premises, with room for 2 vehicles: one under the carport and one in the driveway, right at your front door. The beach is about a 1 minute drive away if you would rather ride, and the driveway makes unloading groceries and beach gear simple.

HOUSE RULES
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM. The home sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed, and a first aid kit and fire extinguisher are on hand. Please treat the home and the shared backyard with care, be considerate of the neighbors next door, and help us keep the space tidy for the next guests. A rental agreement is required before arrival.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
