Slide into your private pool, a heated pool that stays comfortable long after sunset, then walk to beach in 15 minutes with the beach gear rolling behind you in a wagon. Grab the bikes after breakfast and pedal toward Cocoa Beach, then come home to a fenced backyard where the fire pit is waiting and the kids can roam. The Surf Shack is made for a large group that wants one easy, family friendly week together.

ABOUT THIS SPACE
The Surf Shack is a six bedroom, three bath single-level beach house with an open floor plan, and everything flows toward the backyard. The living room, dining area and kitchen share one big room, and two large sliding glass doors open to the covered patio and the pool.

The kitchen is large and renovated, with stainless steel appliances, a big island with four stools, a dishwasher, keurig, coffee maker, kettle and blender. A dining table with a bench seat beside it, and a sitting nook by the sliding door is a quiet spot for morning coffee.

Outdoors is the real showpiece. The heated pool is private and fully fenced, and sun loungers line the edge. Beside it, the covered patio has an outdoor bar with stools, a dining table, wicker seating, a TV, ceiling fans and a hammock. In the yard you will find a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs, a Weber BBQ grill, and an enclosed private outdoor shower for rinsing off sand before you come inside.

Sleeping arrangements: the primary bedroom has a king bed, a TV and a remodeled en suite bathroom with a rainfall shower. Four more bedrooms have queen beds, including the Tropical Room with its own en suite bath. The Ocean Room has a full bed and a twin bed. A newly remodeled hall bath serves the rest of the house, and a linen closet holds bath and beach towels. A dedicated workspace is there if someone needs to answer an email.

Families can pack lighter: there is a high chair, pack n play, children's dinnerware, children's bikes, toys and board games. A free washer and dryer are inside, and central air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable.

In the garage, the beach gear is ready: chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, sand toys, beach towels, surfboards, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, a bike trailer and strollers.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY
The house sits in a quiet Cocoa Beach neighborhood, about a 15 minute walk from the sand, with shared beach access close by. Times below are approximate.
- The Atlantic beach: a 15 minute walk, or a quick bike ride.
- Kayak launch: less than half a block from the front door, with the Banana River and the Thousand Islands area just beyond, where guests often spot dolphins and manatees.
- Cocoa Beach Pier: about 8 to 10 minutes by car, with restaurants, live music and surf lessons.
- Ron Jon Surf Shop: about 5 to 6 minutes away, a classic stop for the whole group.
- Lori Wilson Park: about 3 minutes, with a boardwalk, a nature trail and a quieter beach.
- Port Canaveral: about 15 minutes, for cruise terminals, waterfront restaurants and fresh seafood.
- Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex: about 30 to 35 minutes, and rocket launches can sometimes be seen from the area.
- Groceries and casual dining five minutes away.
- Orlando International Airport: about 50 minutes by car, and Orlando theme parks are roughly an hour away.

GUEST ACCESS
Self check in with your personal lock code, no waiting around for a key. You have full access to the entire house and yard, including the pool, patio, outdoor shower and garage beach gear, with the exception of three locked closets. The home is a single level. Security cameras cover the front door and driveway only, and a noise monitor measures decibel levels without recording any sound.

PARKING
The long driveway and garage offer free parking for four vehicles, so everyone can arrive together or separately without hunting for a spot. Please keep vehicles on the driveway so the yard stays clear for play. The garage also stores the bikes and beach gear, so grab what you need on your way out the door.

HOUSE RULES
Check in is after 4 PM and check out is before 10 AM. Early check in or late check out may be available, so just ask. A rental agreement is required per the city of Cocoa Beach before arrival. The maximum is eight guests. A noise monitor measures decibel levels only and records no sound, which keeps things friendly for the neighbors. Please treat the pool and the fire pit with care and supervise children near the water. Carbon monoxide and smoke alarms, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit are all on site. Please leave the home tidy and put the beach gear back in the garage when you are done.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
