Roll a beach wagon out the door with your beach gear already loaded, and make the easy walk to the beach, about eight minutes down a quiet street. Cape Getaway is a renovated duplex with two private sides, made for a large group that wants room to spread out together. The cruise port is a short drive away, so your family vacation starts the moment you arrive. Restaurants and activities are close by too.

ABOUT THIS SPACE
You are booking the entire duplex, and it works like two small homes side by side. Sides 115 and 117 each have their own private entrance, an open living room and dining area, a full kitchen, a full bathroom and 2 bedrooms, which makes 4 bedrooms in all for up to 8 guests. Both sides are renovated with a relaxed tropical beach feel, so everyone gets their own space and still ends up on the same patio by evening.

Living and dining: each side has a gray sectional that wraps around a big ottoman, a TV with Roku, ceiling fans and central air conditioning. The living area opens onto the kitchen, where a breakfast bar with four stools is the spot for morning coffee, card games and late snacks.

Two kitchens: each kitchen comes ready for real cooking, with a refrigerator and freezer, an electric stove and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a blender, a toaster, a kettle, a drip coffee maker and a french press, plus cooking basics, dishes, silverware and wine glasses.

Bedrooms: each primary bedroom has a king bed. In 117 the second bedroom has a queen bed, and in 115 the second bedroom has two twin beds, which can be converted into a king bed, a handy setup for kids. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan, bed linens and extra pillows and blankets.

Bathrooms: each side has its own fully renovated bathroom with a glass-enclosed tile shower, a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body soap.

Outside: the fenced backyard holds two furnished patios with a partial fence between them, so each side has its own spot for coffee and quiet evenings.

Beach gear: two beach wagons stand ready, loaded with beach chairs, boogie boards and shovels, so you can head out without packing a thing.

Family and downtime: you will find board games and puzzles on both sides, along with a pack n play, a high chair and children's dinnerware.

Laundry: a free washer and dryer sits in a closet off the patio, shared by both sides, handy for beach towels and swimsuits.

Cape Getaway sits in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on a quiet street about three blocks from the sand. Shared beach access is close, so the walk to the beach takes roughly 7 to 10 minutes with the wagons in tow, and you never cross a busy road. Drive times below are approximate.

GUEST ACCESS
You will have the entire duplex to yourselves, including both sides, the fenced backyard with its two patios, the beach wagons and gear, and the washer and dryer. Check-in is self check-in with a smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule. Check-in is after 4 PM and check-out is before 10 AM. An early check-in or late check-out may be available, and fees may apply, so ask us. A rental agreement is required before arrival.

PARKING
Parking is free and right on the property. Each side has its own covered carport at the front door, and the driveway fits up to 4 vehicles in total, so two families arriving in separate cars will not have to hunt for a spot. The home is a single level, so there are no stairs between your car and your bags.

HOUSE RULES
We want you to feel at home, so here is what we ask. The maximum is 8 guests, booked as one reservation for the whole duplex. Check-in is after 4 PM and check-out is before 10 AM, so we can freshen the home. A rental agreement is required. Please be considerate of the neighbors on this quiet street, and keep outdoor evenings low-key. Exterior security cameras are on the property. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed, and a fire extinguisher and first aid kit are on hand. Please treat both sides with care, leave the wagons ready for the next guests, and tell us if anything needs attention.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
